German Sustainability Award 2024: Pina Earth Among the Finalists

We are proud to announce that our climate protection projects for climate-resilient and biodiverse forests in Germany have made it to the final selection for the German Sustainability Award (DNP) 2024! Pina Earth is among the finalists in the “Products” category within the “Climate” transformation field.

The prestigious award from the German Sustainability Award Foundation (Stiftung Deutscher Nachhaltigkeitspreis e.V.) honors exemplary companies across 100 industries that drive successful transformation in the German economy. With the DNP seal, successful participants can showcase their leading position in sustainability to clients, suppliers, media, and the financial community. The DNP mark is a recognized badge of honor, distinguishing sustainability pioneers.

Through Pina Earth's climate protection projects, we are transforming monocultures into climate-resilient mixed forests. Forest adaptation not only stores additional CO₂ but also enhances the structural diversity and biodiversity of forests. This approach has the potential to capture gigatons of emissions.

Pina Earth quantifies this additional CO₂ storage using our proprietary AI-based measurement technologies. By digitizing this process, we increase the accuracy and transparency of climate protection projects, enabling companies to make a direct contribution to climate action through local forest conservation projects for the first time.

The awards ceremony will be held on November 28. We are looking forward to celebrating innovative sustainable solutions with our fellow finalists at the end of the month!
