November Update: Insights behind the scenes at Pina Earth

Author:
Dr. Christine Rzepka

Protecting Europe's forests is a task that we can only master together. All the better when our partners actively engage with us, for example at the Lunch & Learn at the Airbnb office in Berlin or in the short video with Yello.

We worked together with Yello on our project Rosenau to record a video about how forest adaptation works and the impact of climate protection projects on the ground.

Since 2023, we have been working together with Airbnb and SQUAKE to enable travelers in Germany to make a direct contribution to local climate protection when booking. More than 130,000 guests have already made a climate contribution via Airbnb, enabling over 213 soccer pitches of forest to be converted into climate-resilient, more biodiverse mixed forests. Have you already used the feature when booking on Airbnb?
