Pina Earth is "Digital Start-up of the Year 2024"

We are delighted to announce that we have been named "Digital Start-up of the Year 2024" by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK). Every year, the ministry presents this award to young companies that have already taken part in a BMWK start-up initiative and have managed to successfully implement their digital ideas in a particularly short time. An independent jury of experts from business and science decided who received the award this year.

Our co-founder and CEO, Dr. Gesa Biermann, at the award ceremony in Berlin

Franziska Brantner, Parliamentary State Secretary at the BMWK, presented the award and praised the innovations from a wide range of sectors and the founding spirit of the award winners: "Innovation begins with the courage to want to do things differently and the determination to want to do them better. Today, we are not only celebrating the digital solutions that our award winners have developed, but also the courage and determination that have already brought them and their ideas this far and will take them even further."

With the prize money of €50,000, we can continue our mission to make our forests in Germany fit for the future!

We would also like to congratulate the other winners, in particular Certivity, Elona Health and Logistikbude, who took second and third place!
