Pina Earth's Sustainability Report 2024

We are publishing our own sustainability report for the third time - an important step towards making our mission tangible and reflecting our impact. We prepared the first sustainability report for 2022. A lot has happened since then. Our current report for 2024 shows that our impact is growing - and so is our responsibility.

Highlights from 2024: More projects, more impact

Last year, we were able to finance forest adaptation measures on over 5.5 million square meters - almost twice as much as in the previous year. We are particularly proud of the first certifications of our projects in accordance with the German Forest Climate Standard (WKS). We are thus setting new benchmarks for quality and transparency in voluntary climate protection in Germany.

Our project portfolio has grown from 4 to 12 climate protection projects - from Schleswig-Holstein to Bavaria. This enables our partner companies to make a visible, local impact on the ground in Germany.

An award-winning year - as Digital Start-up of the Year 2024

A special highlight: we were honored by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection as "Digital Start-up of the Year 2024" award. This recognition honors us and confirms our innovative, technology-based approach to saving our regional forests.

Sustainability in the company: Responsibility at all levels

We also actively promote sustainability in our own organization:

• Expand cooperation with forest owners: In 2024, we developed eight new projects with local forest owners. The intensive exchange ensures that our projects have a long-term impact and are geared towards the requirements of local ecosystems.
• Increasing transparency for customers: Our forest dashboard has been further developed - with even more data, insights and storytelling options. Project videos also provide new insights into the projects and partners involved.
• emissions and compensate for them: We also calculate our own footprint as a company every year. In addition to reduction measures, we also invest in climate protection projects ourselves in order to make an effective contribution to climate protection for the emissions that we generate as a company.

Outlook 2025: Regional climate protection taken further

We have big plans for 2025: more projects in regions with high demand, a growing partner landscape and an even greater impact. Our goal remains clear: to advance global climate protection with local forests - scalable, measurable and transparent.
