Schlegel Project in Thuringia

The Schlegel project will convert 471 hectares of pure spruce stands in Thuringia into a sustainable mixed forest over a 30-year project period. Activities such as promoting natural regeneration and planting new species will make the forest more resilient to the effects of climate change, such as storms, drought, and beetle infestation.Mehr erfahren

Projekt Rosenau in Sachsen-Anhalt, Brandenburg und Niedersachsen

Auf FSC- und PEFC-zertifizierten Waldflächen werden reine Kiefernbestände u.a. mit Weißtanne, Bergahorn, Winterlinde, Robinie und Buche gemischt, damit sie künftig trockenen Sommern und Klimarisiken wie Waldbränden und Schädlingen besser standhalten können.

Gudower Mühle in Schleswig- Holstein

Im Umbauprojekt “Gudower Mühle” wird durch eine naturgemäße Waldbewirtschaftung ein mehrschichtiger Mischwald etabliert. Als Teil der Projektaktivitäten wird die natürliche Verjüngung der standortheimischen Laubbaumarten wie Rotbuche und Trauben-/Stieleiche gezielt gefördert. Diese Maßnahmen werden durch Pflanzungen und Saaten ergänzt.
